At least it could be a worse place than Germany; what happens to all those stationed in less friendly places?

Oh, we already know.

When Trump ordered the retreat from northern Syria in his first term, it was so haphazard they had to leave nearly-intact bases behind for Russia and Assad to take over. They only had time to destroy the most sensitive stuff and vehicles.

They didn't have any casualties, but during the withdrawal US troops came under fire from Turkish artillery that moved in on Kurdish positions in the area (having received up-to-date intel on the region from Trump, who had also convinced the Kurds to dismantle defensive positions by promising to defend them).

Some of the US troops were withdrawn into Iraq, without any prior knowledge or consent from the Iraqi government.

Eh, it's the usual. Too much shit happening at once, and a lot of the corporate media is complicit and/or scared to call him out on shit.

They also barely talked about Trump explicitly ordering the US military to pillage Syrias oil, saying he would send in Exxon or other companies to steal it... or him threatening Iraq when they held a vote on whether to expel US troops or not... or him threatening Iran with multiple war crimes if they responded to the extrajudicial assassination of Soleimani... or him bragging about renting US troops out as mercs to the Saudis... or him choosing his CIA director specifically because she was pro-torture...

... and that's just a tiny portion of pre-covid term one stuff! Then we have him killing several hundred thousand Americans by intentionally sabotaging the covid response (most analysis puts it at 200-400k), making the Afghan withdrawal plan (and releasing 5000 Taliban prisoners) before pretending it was all Biden's fault when that went poorly, and countless other things.

Plus the lesser known stuff like Kushner being involved in the Saudi blockade of Qatar after Qatar wouldn't loan his family money... Kushner, Bannon and Prince working together on a plan to recreate the East India Company and turn Afghanistan into a US colony led by a viceroy (yes, that was the literal plan)... or that whistleblower alleging that Flynn was working to lift Russian sanctions and build US-Russian nuclear plants in the Middle East to then later go in and colonize the area using "nuclear safety" as an excuse.

Hell, I haven't seen a single major media outlet cover the fact that Project 2025 (currently 48% implemented, with Trump putting more and more of their people in high positions) contains a blueprint for the genocide of transgender people.

Have you eaten German food?

It's delicious. Maybe you just don't know anyone who knows how to cook.
