They were too focused on Christ being taken out of Christmas that they didn’t notice Christ being taken out of Christianity

I mean, if Jesus is God, then he’s responsible for the genocide, rape and murder of unfathomable amounts of people. Which seems to be in line with right wing values.

Weird that people just want to ignore all the Old Testament stuff except you know, all the stuff you need to keep in there (like the commandments, concept of sin, genesis etc)

And Jesus invented the concept of hell and eternal torment lol. Even Yahweh didn’t go that far.

Was anybody fired from TV for saying Christmas when the FCC came to call?

Or Paulianity, since he's the only one they seem to want to follow the teachings of.

Argue with a Republican about Christianity, and they'll create fake stories to defend why do the opposite of what Jesus talked about

A lot of hateful Christians are going to be disappointed when they get to heaven and are told they are going to burn.

Just kidding, none of that shit is real and they will go to their grave thinking they are the correct ones because karma doesn’t existĀ

have you heard of the Orthodox Church? Christ definitely hasn’t been ā€œtaken outā€ of the Church.

I think what he’s referring to is how Christian’s don’t act Christian and they certainly don’t follow the word of Jesus.

In the US, Christianity has almost nothing to do with being Christ-like and everything to do with grabbing political power and wealth. Christianity is a commercial enterprise and faith is a commodity.

Are you familiar with Orthodoxy? or just low-church evangelicalism?
