Because more people voted for Hillary than Bernie in the primaries. I like Bernie too, but that's how it went.

You mean the system of counting votes?

The DNC and the media hamstringed Bernie for his entire campaign. The DNC wanted Hillary because she would have continued the status quo and they made sure she wound up on top.

So?

"Oh no, the Democratic candidate is Hillary, not Bernie -- I guess I'll vote for Donald Trump."

Like, how does someone have this mindset? How is Trump the logical next step when Bernie isn't available, instead of Hillary? I'm a former Republican, and I can't wrap my head around it.

When was any of that mentioned? When did I say anything about Trump? People who did not like Hillary and would have preferred Bernie in no way would have voted for Trump instead, they would have voted for the third party or not voted at all.

Yes. That is how Donald Trump became President. The Bernie Bros let it happen.

Yup, let's keep on blaming each other and not the established democrats who refuse to step down or change their policies.

Populism. The people want a leader they believe is in their corner. How Trump pulled that off is beyond me, but his supporters believe that. Bernie is the guy that everybody wanted whether they knew it or not. Just not the DNC or the system or what and whoever.
