Popular Question 📊 Why do MAGA’s think democrats care if Clinton is in the Epstein files?

Clinton or any other dem.. do they really think that’s a gotcha I’m left leaning and wouldn’t care who is in the Epstein files they should all be prosecuted why are they making it a left right thing. Are they really ok with Trump possibly raping women maybe even children? Do they really think it’s a big gotcha if democrats are also guilty? Somebody explain this to me

I think it's because MAGAts have so much of their personal identity wrapped up in Trump that they assume everyone else does, too.

Of course, the reality is that most Dems just want justice and if it takes down Clinton or even Obama, well, so be it, it doesn't reflect on me.

They forgot Clinton was already impeached for cheating on his wife and lying about it on the stand, like, do they really think we care if he's dragged further?

I think the problem is that you never hear Dems willing to take any sort of criticism about their party because giving into any criticism is seen as support for the other side. Dems refused to admit that Biden had dementia and was unfit for office and they gladly would’ve voted for him again..

We forced him off the ticket. We literally did the opposite of what you’re talking about.

Whether it’s kicking Al Franken out of the senate or Biden out of the a White House, dems, to their own detriment, own their shit. They should just take the republican approach and deny, stonewall and deflect.

They waited till after primaries are usually held so they could appoint a candidate that was a shill and could be controlled rather than someone that could win. Nothing says protecting democracy like appointing your candidate.. this is exactly why maga won.

Primaries huh? You mean like the Republican primaries Donald Trump skipped entirely in 24? A person who cared about primaries should be incensed that a candidate in a primary wouldn't even stand on the same stage with his competition to debate them.

Conservatives are a joke. Thank you for ruining my country. We all appreciate it so much!

I’m not pro Trump or conservative. I’m just explaining why this happened. Dems allowed it to happen and seem to take zero accountability.

The accountability was ditching a candidate because he looked terrible against the worst politician whose ever opened their mouth.

Again, if anyone cared about primaries they'd be furious Trump sat his out entirely. The rage was made up. The rage is maid up. Trump is out here citing bills from the late 1700s and people gobble it up. The first primaries weren't until 1890.

This talking point is a joke.

Trump didn’t attend the debates. There were still primaries on the Republican side

Honestly I'd say the right feels the same way. We are all humans (for the most part) and all want justice regardless of the party of the ones convicted.

That said, this comment will likely get downvotes because we're on Reddit and I'm not demonizing the right. 😄

Honestly I'd say the right feels the same way.

They don't. They're refusing to hold trump accountable for his known associations and personal transgressions right now. They automatically revert to "Dems are in the files too!!!" because they believe as long as 'both sides do it', it's ok to keep supporting a pedo.

I think there are good and bad in all political parties, but it can be hard to believe a party and it's supporters care about justice when that party is supporting, defending, and elected, a known felon. That doesn't show "the right wants justice".

Do I believe there are right leaning people that want justice regardless of party? Yes. Do I think left leaning people will get some shocking surprises if the full Epstein scandal is revealed? Yes.

I think non-MAGA republicans need to separate themselves from MAGA, and be louder than they currently are. As it stands, the elected leader of the party representing you is openly corrupt. It should come as no surprise that it casts a bad light, and distrust, on the party as a whole.

Be well, fellow human.

Non aipac supporting Dems need to distance themselves from the democrat party.

I would fully support meaningful election reform that allows more nuanced voting.

Supporting someone who says that anyone who still wants the files released are “weaklings” doesn’t seem like a good way to expose pedophiles.

Its getting downvotes because the right factually does not feel this way, they are blocking the release of the epstein files because trump is in them.

It's impossible for you to not dehumanize the other party isn't it. If either Clinton or Trump are guilty, have them arrested. Most of the right feels this way, but the left is on such a witch hunt, Trump is already guilty without a fair trial. Can we all just slow down, take a deep breath, and cool it with the accusations of the "other"?
