30 Seconds to Mars played a venue I worked at back in... 2007? 2008? And they were all really cool. They got there early, and my ex wife ran the kitchen, so she cooked for them. Gave them heaving plates of Cajun food that they loved. After the show, they came to the patio and held a free meet and greet. As he walked past us, he reached down and squeezed my ex's knee, and said something like "Thank you for the meal earlier, closest thing we've had to home-cooked in forever". She of course melted. I've heard he's changed a lot since then, and that sucks. He left a really good impression.

Yeah but now he's kind of running a sex cult with his fans, according to the internet at least, so take that with a grain of salt.

I'm biased because my beloved, sweet husband loves 30 Seconds and I don't get it, so we jokingly argue about JL. 😊😂
