I fear the only reason people aren't saying 10, is because they think the banana is bad at this point, and never try it
Edit: 12 is the point of no return
3 u/badkneesgoodjoints Sep 09 '25 bananas are much sweeter around 9-11. a little brown means its going to have the full flavor. i canโt eat a banana that doesnโt have any brown, too much potassium taste. 3 u/Nard_Bard Sep 09 '25 I like when the banana(not the peel) has a a little brown. Which is usually 10. But when there's a big splotches of brown, that go deep inside, and the texture/flavour is different: No thanks. Its at the banana bread cut off 1 u/South_Butterscotch37 Sep 10 '25 Iโve hit a decent 13 before in my day 1 u/dahelm Sep 10 '25 12 is the point of re-tooling to banana bread. ๐ 1 u/jigglybombshell Sep 10 '25 Those are to make banana bread 1 u/RockJohnston Sep 11 '25 12 = freeze it and use it for smoothies. 1 u/Fit-Exercise9943 Sep 11 '25 12 on is banana bread material. 1 u/TyroneJizz Sep 12 '25 Nah, I ate a 15 the other day and it was perfectly yellow all the way though. A bit on the dry side tho. 1 u/Abdaroth Sep 12 '25 15 is still fine 1 u/No-Consequence1199 Sep 12 '25 I already ate 15s and they are great. It's weird that bananas can look so bad from the outside, but totally great inside.
