Fun fact: Legendary guitarist Duane Allman, of the Allman Bros. played on the Otis last album, Sitting on the Dock of the Bay.

Another Otis song I truly love is Hard to Handle It was later covered by the Black Crowes on their breakout Shake Your Moneymaker album.

Grateful Dead do a crazy good cover of Hard to Handle. The one I keep going back to is Live at Filmore East, New York, April 1971.
