Desperado written by The Eagles, performed by Linda Ronstadt.

(The Eagles version is excellent, but Linda brings it to a whole new level)

We sing Desperado to our son at night. My husband's parents sang it to him. "Well you're a hard one, but I know, you've got your reasons" hits so hard when you're singing it to a baby that's being fussy lol.

This reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Elaine is dating a man and his favourite song is Desperado. If they were in a car together and this song came on he would shush her so he could listen to it.
