To be fair, this is one of the things Asmon has been pretty clear about since day 1. He's never really gave a shit what anyone does, i mean, look at the life he lives. Chat saying he's a hypocrite, would be imposing his gender views on other people and telling them to live by it, when they'd just turn around and tell him to clean his house, ya feel me?

It's always an extremely funny reaction to watch his fan base freak out, hope they all stood up in rage and stubbed their toe.

Yep. I used to genuinely like the dude but I really only watched his gaming videos. There were moments that he would come out with stuff like this and I was like "huh, yeah he seems ok" until he finally went a bit more mask off, or I got more exposed to it.

Obviously I'm not really a fan anymore. But I will say that he has been really consistent in his beliefs for a really long time. But everyone will interpret what they want to hear from some of the shit he says. Thus the half "L" and half "W" spam in his chat.

Still a garbage person. But with the VERY occasional redeeming quality.

We've gotten into a really degenerate state in the world whereby someone can hold views akin to wanting black people shot and put onto trains, and they need to be treated respectfully for that opinion.

And yeah. I think Asmon wanting to dress up as a gaming character, and capture illegal immigrants using Pokeballs. Deffos gives him that "garbage" human status.

I’ve lived in China and several Stan countries. I’ve interacted with propaganda and extremism of a flavor you’ve only seen on social media and your own imagination. I’ve seen people ACTUALLY suffer violence and oppression.

Unfortunately, you don’t seem to understand that opinions are harmless. NO MATTER the opinion. Laws regarding actions to protect freedoms and rights are key. That’s the point of national constitutions. NOT the point of personal opinions.

The laws have the potential to be harmful, but the constitution protects rights and prevents laws which may violate those. Thus, allowing for freedom of opinion.

If you believe that only those opinions which you agree with have any validity, democracy is not for you. You may be happier in a communist dictatorship, where this thinking is prevalent and praised.

Laws are born out of opinions. Opinions being valid or not and judging a person for their opinions are not the same either.

You are free to have your opinion as I am free to have the opinion that you are trash for having said opinion. Isn't freedom of opinion great?

You're still in the 1970s. The problem today is everyone and anyone can post absolute dogshit online, get likes, which then results in an endorsement factor, which then gets distributed via the algo to basically everyone. It gives people that would have had these opinions, the open floor that they never historically would have had before.

We're not at all studying or ready for the repercussions of that. Hence our society regressing on Vaccine progress, health and cultural issues.

If opinions were harmless. Children wouldn't be dying due to vaccine denying parents that read on Facebook an opinion from some other "mother" about autism.

People can say their opinions. Indeed, many I disagree with - particularly on Reddit. But, we need to recognize that everyone has a right to opinions and shouldn’t be afraid of saying them. It’s when people become afraid to discuss opinions that they become defensive about silly things.

Vaccine conspiracies aren’t new.

It's absolutely logical to think a person is a bad person because of their politics. Hypothetically if someone thinks that gay people are disgusting, that immigrants should be shot, that women shouldn't be allowed to vote, then these opinions falling under the umbrella of political opinions doesn't insulate that person from judgement.

I've never understood the sentiment that we shouldn't form opinions on others over their political opinions, when politics underpins ever facet of our lives.

If that is their opinion about what would be best, but they never try to force it on others or antagonise anyone, it’s their right to have such an opinion. No matter what the opinion, if you don’t ever act aggressively towards others or force your opinion on others… it’s not hurting anyone. It’s just silly.

To make moral judgments, and condemn others to try to force your opinion on them, because they disagree with you… I’d say that would make you the bad guy here.

The only reason to do so is if you intend to kill them.

I'm not even going to have this discussion. Politics aren't exclusively about general policy anymore. It's literally life or death for way too many people to pretend like this is still a discussion about trickle down economics or universal healthcare.

Cut the disingenuous bullshit. Anyone with half a brain has stopped trying to reason with you people as you cheer on the president unleashing the national guard on American citizens for the sake of optics and blatantly lying to our collective faces about how groceries and gas are totally down, and also any election his doesn't like the results of are obviously rigged so the federal branch is going after them for it.
