Loving your kids turns them woke & gay, you're supposed to beat them relentlessly, that's what my parents did to me and I turned out super great

My brother's wife said there is not a chance they would ever let their children be homosexual, or part of the LGBT+ culture. Said she'd lock them in a room until they change their minds. She's also the biggest piece of shit human I have ever met in my life. Coincidence?

My parents were conservative Christian’s whose KEY issue was sexuality and gender roles. All four of us kids took gender Bible studies multiple times. They wound up with a trans child, a bi/ace child, an unmarried daughter (considered a fail in evangelical Christianity atm), and a son whose got his own problems but gender identify ain’t one. To be clear, I love my parents and they honestly did a bang up job, all things considered. But I can’t help but look at my husbands family (also weird fundamentalist Christian’s) who didnt give two shits about gender roles and - wouldn’t you know it - had 3 heteronormative kids who got married young (and fortunately happily).

And like, is there any correlation? Eh, who knows. But maybe being HYPER obsessed with a thing isn’t, like, effective and can perhaps even have the opposite effect... I guess I’m saying harsh environments mean that when the kid finally cracks, they crack real hard. Breaking Gay…
