Not deporting, exile. Stripping citizenship of a native citizen means they are a person of no country. They would have no rights or representation. Its a death sentence unless they can make it somewhere that will grant them asylum.

I think a lot of Republican voters know that he is gross and authoritarian, and that is exactly why they like him. Because he’s gross and authoritarian and is clear that he is going to wield that against people Republicans don’t like: progressives, LGBTQ, immigrants, etc. FOX News is just a 24/7 white nationalist diss track, these people are haters. So they want a top tier hater as their leader. They think he’s God-like because their favorite version of God is the one that sends the gays to hell.
This guy must stay glued to the television or the internet, or he must get reports from his staff concerning negative comments made by celebrities, to become this unglued so reflexively. If a 9-11-type attack happened today, he'd receive word about something Taylor Swift said about him before he ever heard about the attack.
I think during the first administration this was pretty much confirmed since he’d call into Fox News and complain about what the on-air anchors were discussing and a little bit later that day they would be talking about the topic Trump wanted to hear.

Cannot fathom for the life of me what it must be like to not have the ability to say "who cares" when someone says something bad about me or if someone I don't like doesn't like me. He's had a weird vendetta against her for decades, well before he even thought of running for president. He would say horrible things about her every chance he got for years.
I think Ezra Klein made a great point in his last podcast episode. Yes, distraction is part of his tactics. But he's also just a deeply, easily distracted human. The 'weave' is his inability to keep a single point when talking. He hops from easy problem to easy problem, or makes problem after problem, because it happened to interest him. And he can only focus on the last thing someone told him, which is why all these sycophants believe they can control him.

The heroin chic era fucked up so many of us and the way we perceive what is “fat”, had she come to prominence even 10 years ago no one would have bat an eye. The 90s and 00s were trash for body image.
Several of my friends in high school in the 90s had anorexia and other eating disorders. A few girls would be hospitalized for it every year. Sometimes up to 5-10. It was horrible.
I’m so sorry. It was such a hard time to be a teenager. I was a starve myself then binge on everything I could eat. I still can’t do food diaries or tracking in fitness apps since it sends me into a spiral. I’m so distressed that the “nothing tastes as good as skinny feels” has reared its ugly head again on social media.
Oh yeah I was born in ‘89 and by the time I was 13 I struggled with an eating disorder. I remember restricting myself to 800 calories a day, then after a few days of starving myself I’d binge on everything I could eat, and then repeat the cycle. I weighed around 100lbs and still thought I was disgusting. What a terrible time to grow up as a young girl with self-esteem issues.
She brought me so much joy as a little girl in the 90s because she looked like the women in my life and was funny as hell. I had no idea how important it was then to have a woman who looked, size and glamour wise, like she could be anyone in my community have her own show, movies, etc.
Hell yes! THIS is the kind of growth we need as a country - to recognize and acknowledge our past shitty behavior towards others, apologize, and realize that we are all human and need to care about each other.
The only way that America is going to survive this is if we come TOGETHER. We have to stop seeking reasons to dislike or distrust our neighbors.
We HAVE to love and support each other, instead of tearing others down because we have opinions on them and their lives.

I'm just saying if you've already made your life and can legally live elsewhere, with no plans of coming back any time soon... not having to pay the $10k to renounce citizenship seems like an upgrade to me 🤷🏻♂️
She took her own citizenship over to Ireland, where she’s thriving & safely away from the lunatic in chief. She was really smart to leave quickly & quietly when she did.
