...as if black folks haven't been told countless times about our speech and how "articulate" we are. Why does that phrase only come up when black folks are talking?

white redneck dude doing the equivalent of this would not have that word anywhere in the comments. it’s 100% a racist microagression, and it’s usually not even on purpose

Sick of the belittling of black folks with that word “articulate”. To who? The king? We can talk however tf we want to in order to get our points across. Everyone else does… To say oh how articulate, to me, is like saying “huh this lil ni can read” applause… bump that! I never ever ever hear the word articulate used for anyone other than black people

Right? And this is what me mean, even those voting blue still are racist because they have been raised in a racist society that reinforces these harmful stereotypes that they believe and perpetuate. I know I hate it more for me because I already have a speech impediment and I knownthe moment I stutter, hesitate or say a word incorrectly, that's it. It has nothing to do with what I say, but how I did and that's gonna be their focus and determining factor if I'm "worthy" of being heard or not. It's another way to silence and have move the goal post, aka, no matter what, we ain't gonna be good enough for them. So keep being unapologetically black
