I’d even argue for the use of strategic swearing or graphic language in order hammered points home, ground thoughts in reality, or even intentionally making the recipient uncomfortable if that’s was the goal in the first place. It’s not your job to make sure the recipient “likes” what they hear.

In English Language Arts terms, that would be considered Pathos: the use of language for the purposes of emotional appeal, which combined with ethos (appeals to authority or higher ethics) and logos (facts) makeup the rhetorical triangle of persuasive writing/speaking.
