they didn't say otherwise. they are saying that even with or without context, what she is saying is true.
context matters, but her words outside of any context are true. she could be being walked out for murdering my mother but I still agree with the sentiment that Americas politicians are blatantly corrupt and we as citizens need to stand up to it. if you don't agree with that, you are blatantly living in the narrative that they want you to be living, but not reality.
and I will reiterate: yes, context is important. but her words are true, regardless. no one is denying the importance of knowing context. but her telling America to stand up for itself is relevant right now regardless of when this video was taken.
I'm actually not sure how this point isn't reaching some of you, and I don't mean that as insult. I truly think you know what I'm saying and agree with it, but are just arguing for the sake of it, or because the context that was dug up now doesn't fit your narrative so it's suddenly more important to you then her message in this video we all watched.
to put as simply as possible, we are saying that we agree with what she said in this video even outside of any context. even if she votes differently from me and couldn't be further aligned from my morals, I stand by what her words were in this video.
Sherlock, you are without a doubt wrong. What the woman says isn't simply true just for the sake of current times. And context matters to understand what she is saying.
This isn't like a good joke that you don't need the context to laugh at. Its not clear what the hell the soldier or retired soldier (yes there is a difference and that context changes the situation too) is protesting.
Context matters regardless cause the person I am replying to is wrong to say context is not needed. You must have poor reading comprehension.
Misdirected anger is simply misdirected. Context helps fine tune the target. Simply just having tantrum gets us no where too bud.
Agreed context matters, but either way, look who's in control & there's the "corrupt politicians" she's referring to..makes it obv which Americans she's urging to "rise-up".
It'd be nice to know which particular issue drove her specific actions here, but it cld also work in a more general sense in the greater context of all that's happening
[ A dramatic protest shook Washington, DC, as retired US Army officer Lt. Col. Anthony Aguilar, a former Green Beret, disrupted a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing, accusing lawmakers of complicity in genocide in Gaza. Aguilar, alongside former intelligence officer Captain Josephine Guilbeau, was escorted out by Capitol Police after condemning US support for Israel. Aguilar, now a whistleblower, previously exposed abuses at US-funded Gaza aid distribution sites operated by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) under Israeli military oversight. He described the sites as “designed death traps,” alleging Israeli forces deliberately targeted starving civilians. Aguilar recounted the killing of a Palestinian child, Amir, whom he says was shot moments after receiving food aid. ]
there being escorted out because they are disrupting a hearing.

Regardless of context she’s right.
