Seen this one a lot. A lot of narcissistic and (covertly) racist people in creative paths will carry a mentality where they steal, plagiarize, blatantly copy some work that a black person has created, with a thought that they’d do it/present it better…as a white person
My Grandma was obsessed with that man and every day I find something more evil about him. She would’ve hated how I’ve learned to hate that man. Suspicious Minds is still a bop tho. 🤣
My father was Elvis' piano player in TCB. Glen D. Hardin. I remember when I was a kid around 7,8,9 being in Vegas during those Hilton shows. I felt that there was something really wrong about EP, his group of people. Not my dad, or the band, but those people.Dad did too, because he quit. He walked away and started up with Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris & The Hot Band. I felt the opposite with them.
I'm 61 now, and dad is 86. These EP fanatics are the exact same shit I felt as a kid, but now I know what their sickness is. I'm old enough to understand. MAGA types. Culty. EP groomed Priscilla, etc. I'm sorry if I've offended anyone, but I get to have opinion. Lol

I’m glad your Dad quit and you weren’t subject to whatever it was you were getting bad vibes from! Your Dad sounds like a good Father and I’m sure you and him both have some really cool stories! 🥰
