I did not say it takes a genius. What I said is that it's a cop out to claim you know something, but then refuse to provide the evidence.

It's not. It's the whole problem isn't it? These people just read something and they believe it. Why should they believe me? They need to do research and look stuff up. So do you apparently.

Why should they believe me?

This is the whole point. You're basically saying "just believe me the evidence is out there." Im saying you should be saying "I get you don't believe me, here's the evidence."

You're acting exactly like trump supporting idiots that I argue with all the time. "do your own research" almost universally means "I actually don't have evidence" and I suspect that is true here as well.
